About the AI Literacy Toolbox
The AI Literacy Toolbox is a student-built platform designed to help people better understand artificial intelligence. Through interactive tools and playful experiences, we aim to make AI concepts accessible, critical, and engaging.
Why this Toolbox?
AI is shaping the world – but most people don’t know how it really works. This toolbox was created to bridge that knowledge gap, offering easy-to-use tools that teach, challenge, and spark curiosity.
How it started
The project began at the University of Duisburg-Essen as part of a research seminar from the Summersemester 2025. We explored AI literacy frameworks, evaluated learning resources, and built a collection of tools to help others engage meaningfully with AI.
